Agree the fabrication scope before production
- Drawings and responsibilities: Identify what FANN will fabricate and what the exhibitor or another supplier will provide.
- Materials and finishes: Confirm the specification, quantities, finish expectations and any sample approval in the quote.
- Venue requirements: Check the current exhibitor manual, submission dates, fire documentation, loads and electrical requirements for the actual design.
- Production and site access: Agree the dependencies, transport, installation window and handover checks. Dismantling is included only when stated.

What to confirm in the quote
Confirm graphics, transport, installation, venue submissions and any dismantling separately. Organiser charges, power, rigging, furniture, AV, storage and changes after design approval should be named as included, excluded or supplied by others. A fabrication quote is not a guarantee of venue approval or a fixed completion date before the dependencies are checked.

Where is the fabrication workshop?
FANN coordinates exhibition projects from its Dubai office, with an in-house joinery workshop in Umm Al Quwain. The workshop is not in Dubai; site installation is planned for the venue named in your brief.
What do you need to quote fabrication?
Send the show and venue, stand dimensions, open sides, floor plan, design or drawings, graphics requirements and installation deadline. State whether you need fabrication only or also design, transport, installation and dismantling so the quote names the responsibilities.
Which materials and finishes will be used?
Materials, finishes and any sample approval are agreed against your design and itemised quote. A project photograph does not establish the timber grade, fire rating, metal specification or finish for a new build. Required certificates and technical checks need to be confirmed for the actual venue and materials.
How long does fabrication take?
There is no fixed turnaround for every stand. The programme depends on approved drawings, materials, graphics, the build scope and venue access. Share the opening date and submission deadlines early so production and installation dependencies can be checked before commitment.
Does fabrication include venue approval and installation?
Only when stated in the agreed scope. Confirm who prepares and submits drawings, who pays organiser or venue charges, and who handles transport, site installation and dismantling. Approval remains subject to the organiser or venue review; fabrication alone is not a compliance certificate.
Can the design change after production starts?
Changes need a scope, cost and schedule review before they are agreed. New dimensions, materials, graphics or technical requirements can affect production and approvals. Do not assume a late change is included or can be made without moving the programme.
