Exhibition stand design and build at Dubai World Trade Centre

Completed FANN stand: TREVOS at Light Middle East, Dubai World Trade Centre. A real project at this venue.

Dubai World Trade Centre hosts hundreds of events a year, including many of the region's largest trade exhibitions. FANN designs and builds custom exhibition stands for exhibitors at the venue: the brief starts from your confirmed allocation and exhibitor manual, moves through 3D design visuals, and continues into fabrication at our Umm Al Quwain workshop, delivery, installation and dismantling. We are an independent Dubai contractor, not DWTC, the show organiser or an appointed official contractor.

Start from the allocation and the exhibitor manual

Every stand at Dubai World Trade Centre is governed by the show's exhibitor manual: build-up and dismantling windows, submission deadlines for drawings, height limits and service order cut-offs. Send us the hall and stand number, dimensions, open sides and the current manual. Public show dates are not build-up, submission or dismantling deadlines; those come from your manual.

  • Allocation: hall, stand number, dimensions, open sides and any adjoining structures.
  • Submissions: stand drawings and risk documents to the organiser or venue by the stated deadline, with a named owner on our side.
  • Deadlines: service orders and approval submissions carry their own cut-off dates, separate from the show dates.

Venue services and appointing your own contractor

Utilities, rigging and venue services at DWTC are ordered through the organiser's official manuals and order forms, with early-order deadlines. Exhibitors with space-only allocations commonly appoint their own stand contractor for a custom build; confirm the current rules, nomination forms and any venue approval steps for an independent contractor in your exhibitor manual. FANN works to whichever appointment route your show requires.

  • Utilities and services: power, water, compressed air, internet and rigging via the official order forms, with early-bird deadlines.
  • Rigging and overhead structures: only with venue approval and certified rigging points; plan loads and drawings early.
  • Double-deck stands: possible in principle, subject to venue approval, structural drawings and the manual's conditions.

Built in our own workshop, installed by our own team

FANN takes the agreed design into fabrication in our Umm Al Quwain workshop, then logistics, installation and dismantling at DWTC. You get one scoped contract and one accountable team from concept to handover, with the itemised scope in writing before work begins.

Real FANN projects to inform your DWTC brief

Documented completed projects from the FANN archive. TREVOS and Geven were built for shows at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Frequently asked questions

Can FANN build my stand at Dubai World Trade Centre?

Yes. We design, fabricate and install custom exhibition stands at DWTC as an independent Dubai contractor. The appointment route and any nomination forms come from your show's exhibitor manual; we work to whichever route the organiser requires.

What should I send for a DWTC stand proposal?

Send the show name, hall and stand number, dimensions, open sides, planned products and activities, brand assets and required dates. Include the current exhibitor manual and any floor plan or drawings already available.

Can you build a double-deck stand at DWTC?

Double-deck structures are possible in principle, subject to venue approval, structural drawings and the conditions in the exhibitor manual. We prepare the drawings and manage the submission when the design calls for a second level.

Which upcoming DWTC shows do you have planning pages for?

We maintain planning pages for WETEX, Gulfood Manufacturing, Big 5 Global, Intersec, Gulf Print & Pack, World Health Expo (formerly Arab Health), Gulfood and Arabian Travel Market. Each page lists verified dates and what to send for a scoped proposal.
