Exhibition stand design in Dubai

Completed FANN project: Geven at Aircraft Interiors Middle East, Dubai, 2025. A design and build reference for product-led layouts; it does not establish a venue appointment or measured visitor result.

A stand has to work from the aisle, not only in a render. FANN designs and builds exhibition stands in Dubai from our Barsha office with an in-house joinery workshop in Umm Al Quwain. Design starts with what the stand must do - the products you are showing, the conversations your team needs and the route visitors actually take past your allocation. Every layout decision on this page is illustrated with completed FANN Dubai stands, and every claim about venues and approvals is stated plainly: we are an independent contractor, not an appointed supplier to any venue or organiser.

Start with the visitor's route, not the render

Visitors approach from an aisle at walking speed. Decide what catches the eye from ten metres, where a visitor stops, and where your team can talk without blocking the entrance. The layout - open sides, sightlines, the counter position, screen placement - is where these decisions live, before materials or finishes are discussed.

Match the layout to the allocation

A corner, island or single-open-side allocation changes everything: which walls carry graphics, where storage hides, how tall elements can be, and where power and data enter. Share your floor plan, dimensions and open sides early; a design drawn for the wrong orientation has to be redrawn at your cost in time.

Graphics are checked against real panel sizes

Before print, artwork is checked against actual panel dimensions: joins marked, screen and furniture positions accounted for, logos kept clear of both. Files are checked for readable small text, usable resolution and correct brand colours. A PDF that looks sharp on a laptop is not proof it works across a full wall.

From design to a scoped build proposal

The agreed design becomes an itemised scope: materials, graphics, fabrication, transport, installation, handover checks, any on-site support and dismantling, each named as included or excluded. Venue submissions and service orders are assigned to a named owner. No blanket approval guarantee is claimed - requirements vary by show and venue.

Compare designs on scope, not on the prettiest render

When comparing designers, use the same allocation and brief for each. Ask what is excluded, what changes after design approval cost, and who owns submissions. A concept image is not a structural specification. Your project is priced against the agreed brief rather than a standard rate.

Real Dubai stands from the FANN archive

Completed Dubai stands from FANN's project archive, named by event. They are layout and finish references for your brief, not evidence of a current venue appointment, material grade or measured visitor result.

Turn the design brief into a scoped proposal

Share the show, dimensions, open sides, products and deadlines. Add your floor plan if available.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to start a stand design?

The show and venue, your stand dimensions and open sides, the floor plan, what you are showing or demonstrating, brand assets, and your dates. The current exhibitor manual helps us flag submission and build rules early.

Is design separate from build, or one contract?

Either. Design and build under one scoped proposal is most common; a design-only brief is possible when you already have a builder. In both cases the scope states what is included and excluded line by line.

Do you handle venue and organiser submissions?

Submission responsibility is agreed per project and named in the scope. We prepare and submit drawings where that is the agreed split. No blanket approval guarantee or official-contractor status is claimed for DWTC, Expo City or any other venue.

Where are you based?

Office in Barsha, Dubai; in-house joinery workshop in Umm Al Quwain. Fabrication happens under our own roof rather than being subcontracted sight-unseen.

Do you have real photographs of completed Dubai stands?

Yes - the references on this page are completed FANN Dubai stands with full photographed case studies in the portfolio. We do not present renders as completed work.

How far before a show should design start?

Earlier is always safer: design, approval rounds, submission windows, production and installation each take real time that varies by show and scope. Send your dates and we will tell you plainly whether the schedule is workable rather than promise an unconditional opening-date guarantee.

Can we reuse the design for another show?

Reuse, storage and reconfiguration are included only when stated in the agreed scope. Tell us which shows are in your season and the design can account for reconfiguration from the start.
